Welcome Beta 5K Runners!
2010 Beta 5K
April 25th @ 10:00am
Basic Info
The Beta Alpha Psi Charity 5K Run/Walk is the
last Sunday of April and will be held at 10:00am for 2010's race.
Proceeds will be donated to Teach for America.
Beta
Alpha Psi is a co-ed professional/service based student organization
within
the College of Business. See the charities tab for further information.
Signing Up
2010 regular registration is $25.00. Everyone that signs up before 4/12/2010 is guarunteed a t-shirt. This event is open to all. The course will have a time-cap of one hour. See the Get Registered tab.
On Race Day
Racers are to meet at the corner of Lucinda Avenue and Kishwaukee Drive in DeKalb, IL
There is free parking in the lot at the northwest corner.
The Course
Here is the link to the course map. This course will allow the runners/walkers to tour the
scenic campus of Northern Illinois University. The course is fairly flat with a downhill
stretch as you approach the finish. The race starts and ends in the Anderson Hall parking lot.
Timing
The race will be timed using chip timing. Each participant will have a chip that will begin
timing as they cross the start line and will stop when they finish. The course distance has
been USATF certified.

Top Finisher will receive the grand prize of $75.00. Medals to the top female and male from each age group will be awarded as well. Age groups are:
