In an effort to maximize our impact on the chosen charities, we will be accepting donations before and after the race.  For the spring 2009 race, we will be accepting donations from now until September 1, 2009.  After September 1^st, donations will go to the newly announced benefiting charities of the 2010 race. 

There are a lot of moving parts in race planning. However, our estimates tell us that a filled race (300 people) would allow 60 – 70% of race fees to be directly donated to charity.  This number is based on seven corporate sponsors and will drastically improve as more sponsors are added.
